Rev. Dr. Marcia J. Patton
The Rev. Dr. Marcia J. Patton is the Executive Minister of Evergreen Association of American Baptist Churches which has churches in Washington state, Idaho, Utah, California and Alaska. Evergreen Association is unique among American Baptist Churches as it organized by ethnic caucuses and does its work by consensus.

Prior to her work with Evergreen, Dr. Patton was Associate Executive Minister for American Baptist Churches of the Northwest and also held pastoral positions in New Jersey, Utah and Pennsylvania. She has taught at Eastern Baptist (now known as Palmer) and Fuller Theological Seminaries. She is the author of many publications in American Baptist Mission Societies and Baptist Leader.

Dr. Patton was ordained at First Baptist Church, Salt Lake City, Utah and currently lives in Kent, Washington. She earned a B.A. from Michigan State University in Business Education, M.A.R. and M.Div. from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now known as Palmer Seminary) in Philadelphia, and PhD from Temple University.
