Located in Washington’s growing Tri-Cities area, Three Rivers Village became an ABHOW community in summer 2010.
The 40-apartment home community in Richland, Wash., was formerly a for-profit enterprise. News of ABHOW’s $2.1 million purchase of the community was reassuring to residents who faced losing their homes had the previous owner’s plan to convert the property to fair-market housing come to fruition.
Three Rivers Village residents enjoy easy access to nearby shopping, entertainment venues, banks and restaurants. Weekly art classes are a big hit, and Wednesday night bingo is a tradition everyone looks forward to. ABHOW has initiated a thorough clean-up and reorganization of the community and grounds, and residents are already enjoying the newly renovated community room.
