The ABHOW Foundation is proud to announce its partnership with the National Vehicle Donation Program to accept donations of vehicles of all types.  We are happy to provide to you an innovative donation program that is fast, easy and protects you from the liability of transferring your vehicle.

Why Donate Your Vehicle to the National Vehicle Donation Program?

• You can donate automobiles, trucks, sports utilities, motor homes, boats, airplanes, and farm and construction equipment.
• You will qualify for a tax deduction. 
• You will avoid all the hassles associated with selling or disposing of a used vehicle.
• You will get free pick-up whether or not your vehicle is running.
• AND, you will be donating an average of a 70% return of the value of your donated vehicle to the ABHOW Foundation for the benefit of your specific ABHOW community.

How Does The National Vehicle Donation Program Work?

• You can donate either online by visiting auto-donation.com or by calling them directly at 800-456-5517.
• Your vehicle must be whole (no missing engine, suspension, etc...).
• The vehicle does not have to be running, but you will be asked to explain the condition of the vehicle and disclose any structural damage to help in scheduling your free pick-up. You will be asked your vehicles make, model, vehicle identification number (VIN#) and current mileage.
• Your vehicle must have a clear title in your name if required by your home state. More information can be found at auto-donation.com  or by calling them directly at 800-456-5517.
• If you donate online, you will need to print out the forms a the end of the donation wizard after you enter the donation information and send your vehicle's title to the National Vehicle Donation Program.
• If you call in your car donation, our representative will mail you a packet with a self-addressed envelope in which to mail back the signed title to your used car donation, an odometer statement giving the exact mileage on your vehicle, and the other pertinent information to assist in better serving you.
• Once the completed car donation packet has been received, National Vehicle Donation Program will contact you to schedule your free tow.  They will also provide you with all the pertinent tax documentation required for a deduction after the completion of the process.

Vehicle donation is an excellent way to make a gift to the ABHOW Foundation. This year the Foundation has combined its vehicle donation program with the October 11, 2010 14th Annual ABHOW Foundation Golf Classic to support ABHOW's affordable housing residents.
