There are as many ways to support the ABHOW Foundation as there are needs for your support. The ABHOW Foundation describes these options in two ways: Planned Giving and Outright Gifts.

Planned Giving
Planned giving is an option that provides for the ABHOW Foundation and for you. The following types of planned giving instruments are available through the ABHOW Foundation:

• Charitable Gift Annuities provide income for the donor and a second beneficiary, if any. The donor receives a contract from the ABHOW Foundation, which will pay the donor a fixed income for life with payments to start immediately or at some set future time. Probate or court involvement is avoided on these funds. A minimum gift of $10,000 is required.

• Charitable Remainder Annuity Trusts pay a fixed annual percentage of at least 5 percent of the trust. A minimum gift of $50,000 is required.

• Charitable Remainder Unitrusts pay an annual percentage of at least 5 percent and are revalued annually. A minimum gift of $100,000 is required.

• Bequests are a gift of property or assets to The Foundation as defined in a will or living trust.

Outright Gifts
A common form of charitable contribution is the outright gift of cash or other assets made to The ABHOW Foundation during the donor's lifetime. There are two types of outright gifts:

• Gifts of cash: The most popular type of donation is a gift of cash. It's easy to do.

• Gifts of appreciated property: An alternative to a cash gift is a gift of property or long-term securities with appreciation or capital gains.

Donate Your Vehicle
The ABHOW Foundation has partnered with the National Vehicle Donation Program to  accept donations of vehicles of all types.  We are happy to provide to you an innovative donation program that is fast, easy and protects you from the liability of transferring your vehicle. 

• You can donate automobiles, trucks, sports utilities, motor homes, boats, airplanes, and farm and construction equipment.
• You will qualify for a tax deduction. 
• You will avoid all the hassles associated with selling or disposing of a used vehicle.
• You will get free pick-up whether or not your vehicle is running.
• AND, you will be donating an average of a 70% return of the value of your donated vehicle to the ABHOW Foundation for the benefit of your specific ABHOW community.
